They confirmed that the building would not be attractive as offices and that retailing would be the most valuable alternative use for the site. " Land Securities have indicated they would be prepared to pay Councillor Johnston added: " Land Securities will also pay " The Livingston South Local Area Committee will have the responsibility to take this project forward. IS THE NEW CIVIC CENTRE AT COST OF
£53 MILION POUNDS IS COST EFFECT TO SELL WEST LOTHIAN HOUSE AND EVEN THE POLICE STATION IN LIVINGSTON AND BOTH COURT LIVINGSTON AND EVEN THE HISTORICAL LINLITHGOW COURT HOW MUCH THEY WILL GET FOR THEM ? EVEN SO IF THE COUNCIL DECIDED OT SELL A PROPERTY SHOULDN'T BE THROUGH PUBLISH MARKETING INVITATION OPEN TO PUBLIC SO MAYBE OTHER INTERST PARTY PLACE THEY BID OR OFFER TO GURANTTEE BEST PRICE AVAILABLE IN THE MARKET ,
West lothian house has already been sold without any marketing or even auction to sell the property ,the massive building for west lothian house sold for 4 million which is a huge buliding and nothing wrong with it,
the council state by the valuer there is no interest for the building to be marketing as an offices !!!!!!
which kind of valuer who says there is no interst for such a massive offices building in the heart of livingston centre ,the location of west lothian house is much more valuable than any othere offices location in west lothian , and what is the point of selling it for 4 million and pay £53 million from west lothians income for a new property when there is no need for it !
and what is wrong with all the other properties which are sharing the new civic centre such as livingston police station, livingston court and the great historical building of linlithgow sherif court, it's totally uneconomical in any way selling a property for £4 million to build an unneedable property for £53million unless there is a great need for it or there is too much money and no need for it in west lothian so if that is the case then this money should build another hospital which west lothian in great needs for it ,there is only one hospital in west lothian which for sure not enough for one of the most growing council in scotland which west lothian council ,don't you think so ........
