this message from cab drivers association under west lothian cab .co.uk asking for further information and answers to the following concern

WHY DID WEST LOTHIAN ONLY CHOOSEN THESE KIND AND MODEL OF THE NEW APPROVED TAXI

WHEN THERE IS FAR MUCH CHEAPER CARS WITH SAME HIGHT AND THE CO2  EMISSION LESS OR SIMILAR TO THE NEW APPROVED TAXIS.

QUSTION WEST LOTHIAN LICENCE COMMITTEE NEEDS TO ANSWERS


1-WHY ALL OF THE APPROVED CARS ARE NEW MODELS AND VERY EXPENSIVE

AND WHY THE COUNCIL GIVING 5 YEARS TO THE OLD TAXI TO BE CHANGED TO THE NEW TAXI MODEL AND MAKES , IT IS TOTALLY UNFAIR TERM AND ...

 WEST LOTHIAN NEW TAXI POLICY WHAT A SHAME



Years we have been fighting to open the taxi plates up in west lothian ,

too many years and west lothian council claims that's there no demand for taxi service in west lothian even when the chief solicitor of west lothian council clearly state 3 years ago that west lothian council can not restrict the number of the taxi plates any longer ,also through the only meeting we did attend or should i say we did received an invitation by the licence committee,

we did clearly point to the huge demand for the taxi service in west lothian and the whole illegal matter around the renting the taxi plates in west lothian ,all of that and west lothian decided to ignore and insist to protect the big boy business ,simply west lothian council challenge the the civic Government  Scotland Act 1982 who gives the each council the ...
