THANKS FOR VISITING OUR SITE
We are a voluntary non-profit making organization. We receive no funds from the government or from any companies, and so represent the truly independent voice of the driver and interest party .
The Association is run by volunteers from amongst its membership in their spare time. We have no full-time employees.and all our assistant and editor are on volunteer basis
The C.D.A was founded in 2007 by our Chairman, Mohammed Rateb, and a group of fellow drivers from all walks of life and mostly from west lothian and surrounding area
The objective of the CDA is to provide an active, responsible voice to the scottish parliament and local council on behalf of the drivers upon many issues, especially those where official policy in recent years has been to discriminate against drivers by means of mis-information, obstruction, restriction, delay and others
in west lothian area there is a massive challenge to be carried out along the licence committee and we working on it ,we don't support the restriction of the taxis plat in west lothian area which is something has been far for too long and it is time to be changed too many years and the licence committee insist that there is demand for taxi service in west lothian meanwhile all fact clearly state the west lothian area has a huge demand for taxi service and the restriction is only benefit those who rent the taxi plat from the council and renting it out for 10 times what they pay to west lothian council ,the amazing about it that west lothian licence committee knew about it and simply ignoring it and even so they didn't even make an investigation about that and totally ignore it which is mean there is a very strong link between the council and those drivers who illegally renting the taxi plates as a result of this support we did report to the licence committee there is a clear public auction to who going to pay for the taxi plat not just that those plates holders start using the needs of the taxi drivers who want to make a living and force them to buy the old taxi for more than double what it is worth as a condition of renting the taxi plate such an information been reported to the licence committee who also ignore it ,
west lothian have far much less taxis comparable to surrounding council such as edinburgh and glasgow
we are here to provide help and support to all the drivers in lothian we believe that every one have the right to make a living and every one( working ) deserve all respect
Please remember all of our service are 100% free we don't charge a penny
we are totally independent and free
